A BIM model is a 3D model composed of objects with defined information and mutual relations that describe the building. Surface models (e.g. SketchUp), entity models (e.g. 3D AutoCAD), geometric models (e.g. Autodesk VIZ) and 3D models that are not intended for construction-architectural design (e.g. SolidWorks, Inventor) do not belong to BIM models.<\/p>

Building Information Modeling (BIM) is a system for the digital representation of the physical and functional characteristics of a building object. BIM includes the generation of a digital model and the management of that model, to support the design, construction and maintenance of a construction object throughout its entire life cycle.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
