FEAL Croatia Director Damir \u0160imunovi\u0107 pointed out in the Zeleno gospodarstvo podcast of Poslovni dnevnik that administrative procedures and the slowness of the system often pose a challenge for entrepreneurs investing in new technologies and the green transition. He states that certain processes, such as issuing environmental permits, can take significantly longer than expected, which slows down investment plans and project development.<\/p>

FEAL Croatia has opened its first production facility in the EU in Karlovac, based on modern and energy-efficient technology that consumes 28\u201335% less energy than older plants. The factory also covers part of its needs with its own solar power plant, and places increasing emphasis on recycled aluminum, which today accounts for around 20% of the raw material used.<\/p>

The company is focused on developing green products \u2014 highly energy-efficient window, door and facade systems \u2014 and is gradually introducing elements of the circular economy, such as recycling its own waste.<\/p>

Damir \u0160imunovi\u0107 emphasizes that the Ministry's recent initiatives related to the digitalization of processes are a positive step forward and believes that further modernization of the administration will support the faster development of sustainable projects in the economy.<\/p>
