At a ceremonial event for our partners, guests and friends, we proudly presented the new FEAL factory in Karlovac \u2013 our first production facility within the European Union. It was an extremely important occasion for all of us, not only because it marks an important strategic step forward for the FEAL Group, but also because with this investment we are strengthening economic cooperation between Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. In the protocol part of the program, the guests were addressed by Damir \u0160imunovi\u0107, Director of FEAL Croatia, Ante Musa, Director of FEAL Group, Goran Romek, Envoy of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia, Borjana Kri\u0161to, Chairperson of the Council of Ministers of BiH and Damir Mandi\u0107, Mayor of Karlovac.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

This strategic investment, worth 32 million euros, is located in the Gornje Meku\u0161je Business Zone in Karlovac, on more than 17,000 m\u00b2 of production space, making this zone a center for production, development and employment. We expect to create 100 new jobs, and the new equipment includes advanced lines for pressing, plasticizing and mechanical processing of aluminum profiles, increasing our total annual production capacity to 85,000 tons.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

During the presentation ceremony, FEAL Croatia Director Damir \u0160imunovi\u0107 clearly expressed the significance of this project:<\/p>

"Today's factory, which you are witnessing, is the realization of a great dream - the construction of the most modern aluminum profile plant in Croatia. Here we have not only built a factory, but also new value for Karlovac, its citizens, partners and future generations. This investment is a message that industry in Croatia has a future - sustainable, technologically advanced and strongly focused on the community."<\/p>

We are particularly proud that the factory was built to the highest standards of sustainability. We have introduced an industrial water recycling system, a solar power plant has been installed on the roof of the production hall, and we are also developing advanced systems for monitoring energy efficiency \u2013 with the aim of reducing energy consumption per kilogram of product by 7% by 2029.\u201d<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

During the ceremony, the gathering was addressed by the Director of FEAL Group, Mr. Ante Musa, who emphasized the value of this investment:<\/p>

"FEAL is a European company \u2013 more than 80% of our production is exported to the markets of Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The fact that the idea of this plant was the brainchild of our late founder, Mr. Jozo Bogdan, is also particularly emotional. His vision of Karlovac as a strong manufacturing center has become a reality today and I am sure that if he were here today, he would be very proud. Of the team that made this vision a reality, of every person who participated in this project and of the fact that his legacy still lives on through us. This factory is a symbol of growth and industrial vision \u2013 connecting technology, quality and innovation."<\/p>

We do not want to stop with this project. We plan to continue investing in the education and employment of local workers, as well as partnerships with Croatian suppliers. Our goal is to strengthen the industrial base of the region in the long term and further stimulate economic activity.\u201d<\/p>

This year, FEAL Group celebrates 25 years of operation as a private company and marks 50 years since its foundation in \u0160iroki Brijeg. During that time, we have built a reputation as a regional leader in aluminum processing, with plants in Bosnia and Herzegovina, more than 800 employees, and serious investments in renewable energy sources \u2013 including five solar and one wind power plant.<\/p>

With the opening of this facility, Karlovac becomes an important hub for the aluminum industry \u2013 with an eye towards a European, green and smart future.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
