Located in a prominent location within the University Hospital of Geneva, BATLab is a modern laboratory center that unites different processes and departments into a single functional unit. The architectural solution is signed by the Burckhardt + Partner SA office, and the concept is carefully adapted to the surrounding urban and hospital context, while connecting with existing facilities on the campus. The building extends over 12 floors, with over 4,800 m² of laboratory space, and more than 6.5 million analyses are performed there annually.

The facade, made of light aluminum and gray balustrades, gives the building a special visual identity. Feal aluminum profiles played a key role in this performance, which enabled the precise realization of the modular grid and the high technical requirements of the laboratory facility.
