Located within the premises of the Osijek Clinical Hospital Center, the new building of the Unified Emergency Hospital (OHBP) and Day Hospital represents a superb example of contemporary medical architecture in the public service.
The project is being designed by the architectural firm Rechner Architects, led by Bruno Rechner, who was awarded a prestigious international award for this achievement. BIG SEE Architecture Award 2024 in the category of public and institutional buildings. The building with an area of 8,500 m² is functionally organized into a ground floor with OHBP and upper floors with clinics, operating rooms and diagnostic facilities, and is designed according to the highest standards of medical functionality and spatial efficiency. Feal's Fasada 50 FK and Mill 45 aluminum systems are integrated into the building, which contribute to the modern appearance, energy efficiency and longevity of the building.
