On October 16, 2026, the conference „Urbanism and Infrastructure Projects“ was held at the Osijek-Baranja County Economic Center, which brought together experts from the fields of architecture, civil engineering, and urban planning. FEAL supported the conference as one of the sponsors, and it is a particular pleasure for us that the event was held in a facility that is among our significant reference projects.
The conference was organized by Business Media Croatia, with the expert partnership of the Croatian Chamber of Civil Engineers. The participants had the opportunity to exchange experiences and discuss current infrastructure investments, urban development, transport and utility infrastructure, as well as the challenges that accompany the planning and implementation of large construction projects.
Through expert lectures and discussions, the importance of quality spatial planning, cooperation between the public and private sectors, and the application of modern solutions that meet the needs of urban development were emphasized.
Economic Center Osijek – one of the FEAL reference projects
The venue of the conference adds special value to our participation. The economic center of Osijek-Baranja County is a modern multifunctional facility designed for trade shows, conferences, and business events, and FEAL’s aluminum solutions were used in its construction.
The project was realized in collaboration with an architectural firm Sirrah project and the company HB Produkt, which was responsible for the execution of facade and aluminum works.
The facility is equipped with FEAL systems. TERMO 85, facade system 50 FS and MILL 45, which contributed to its functionality, energy efficiency and recognizable architectural appearance.
The architectural value of the Economic Center has also been recognized internationally. The facility has won a European award BIG SEE Award in the category of public and cultural buildings and infrastructure, which represents an additional recognition of the quality of the project and the cooperation of all involved participants.
FEAL's solutions in the space that brings together the industry
For FEAL, participation in the conference had additional significance precisely because of its connection with the venue where it was held. The economic center of Osijek is an example of the application of our aluminum systems to a public building that today plays an important role in the business and economic life of the region.
We are glad to see that the space in which we participated is gathering experts who discuss the future of construction, architecture, and infrastructure development.
